The Port of Brisbane handles approximately $50 billion worth of international cargo each year - equivalent to approximately 37 million tonnes.
The Port of Brisbane is Queensland's largest multi-cargo port and the closest major container port to the country's largest export market in the Asia Pacific Rim.
More than 30 shipping lines currently service the Port of Brisbane from around the world and during 2014/2015, the port recorded over 2,500 commercial ship visits.
