If any of the work involves a change of land use, then we may require the assessment of a development proposal against the Codes in the Brisbane Port Land Use Plan 2020 and Port of Brisbane Technical Standard 2020.

port of brisbane
All contractors working for, or on behalf of, the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) are required to undertake Safety Online once a year to ensure that they remain safe while working at the port and that their actions cause minimal impact on the environment.
BRISBANE INTERNATIONAL CRUISE TERMINAL
All contractors working for, or on behalf of, Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal must complete an induction prior to commencing work. The induction must be completed [annually].
Operations Base
All contractors working for, or on behalf of, Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) at the Operations Base worksite must complete an induction prior to commencing work.

All contractors working for, or on behalf of, Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) at the Brisbane Multi-Modal Terminal worksite must complete an induction prior to commencing work.
Hazardous area
All contractors working for, or on behalf of, the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) and are entering a Hazardous Area are required to undertake the Hazardous Area Induction once a year to ensure that they remain safe while working in the Port North Common User Berth Hazardous Area and the Pinkenba Common User Facility Hazardous Area.

All contractors working for, or on behalf of, Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) on the TSHD Brisbane vessel worksite must complete an induction prior to commencing work.
Port of brisbane lines induction
All Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) personnel and contractors working for, or on behalf of PBPL who are working on or near mooring lines must complete an induction prior to commencing work.

General Contractors and employees of PBPL require a Permit to Work every time a 'specified high risk task' is performed at the Port in accordance with the following procedures:
