• Roy Cummins Chief Executive Officer

    Roy began as Chief Executive Officer of the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd in June 2015.

    With over 30 years’ experience in the ports and shipping industry, Mr Cummins has worked in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Prior to joining PBPL, Mr Cummins served for almost six years as Chief Commercial Officer of Global Ports Investments Ltd, the largest stevedoring group in Russia and Eastern Europe. He spent three years as Chief Executive Officer of DP World in Vietnam.

    Mr Cummins also held various positions in the P&O Group in both the liner shipping division (P&O Nedlloyd) and the ports division (P&O Ports), including General Manager of the Port Botany Terminal in Sydney and the West Swanson Terminal in Melbourne.

    Mr Cummins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and German from the University of Durham (UK) and an MBA from the University of Warwick. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

  • Neil Stephens Chief Financial Officer

    Neil joined the Port of Brisbane in mid 2020 and oversees all finance, funding, financial reporting, treasury and tax activities. Prior to joining the port he was Business Development Director at Cardno plc, spent 8 years as the Chief Financial Officer then the Chief Operating Officer of Springfield City Group, and 2 years advising a variety of companies on funding, structuring, acquisitions, property and overall strategy.

    Neil qualified with KPMG in the UK, before working in executive positions including Business Development and M&A Director at British Telecom, Commercial and Venturing Director at Reuters and Chief Financial Officer at two technology start up companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics and a Masters in Finance and Accountancy.

  • Peter Keyte Chief Operating Officer

    Peter joined the Port of Brisbane in January 2004 and is responsible for managing, developing and improving shipping and landside services in the Port of Brisbane, the operation of the Brisbane Multimodal Terminal (BMT), Port Operations, Port Security, Marine and Dredging operations, Trade Development and Strategy, Health and Safety, and emergency response.

    Prior to joining the Port of Brisbane, Peter had 22 years' experience in the shipping and stevedoring industry with P&O. He has held Senior Management positions in various P&O Group companies, working in the UK, New Zealand, Asia and Sydney.

  • David Keir Chief Development Officer

    David has over 25 years’ experience in the property industry having led and managed teams across the country that have created sustainable projects in all Australian states and capital cities.  These include industrial projects, large-scale master planned urban communities and urban regeneration projects and as well as the management of a large-scale construction business.

    He has previously held executive roles with some of Australia’s leading property developers, including publicly-listed companies Devine Limited and Delfin Lend Lease.

    David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Built Environment and Graduate Diplomas in Urban Regional Planning and Property Management – Property Development.

  • Robert Nave Chief Engineer

    Robert joined the port in 1993 and has held various roles within engineering and finance, making significant contributions to the development of the Port's infrastructure, including the planning and delivery of the capital works program such as the reclamation and improvement of land, new port infrastructure and other developments; environmental compliance and other programs; the planning for and maintenance of port infrastructure; as well as the Port’s procurement and Geographical Information System functions.

    He became General Manager Infrastructure in 2014 and now as Chief Engineer is responsible for strategic planning of landside and waterside infrastructure. Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering - Civil (Second Class A Honours), Master of Commerce (Applied Finance), is a Harvard Business School Alumni (General Management Program), a Member of Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland.

  • Jenny Draper General Counsel

    Jenny joined Port of Brisbane in 2019 and brings significant experience to Port of Brisbane with over 20 years experience in top-tier law firms and in-house legal roles in Australia and London.  Jenny commenced her legal career at King Wood Mallesons in Australia followed by Linklaters in London.  She has held General Counsel/Company Secretary roles at Multiplex and Brookfield Asset Management and was most recently with Lendlease in London and Brisbane. 
    Whilst in-house, Jenny has led teams and provided strategic advice to Boards and management on a range of issues including infrastructure and property development, M&A transactions, complex structuring arrangements, debt and equity financing, joint venture and partnership arrangements and corporate governance and company secretariat matters. 
    Jenny holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and has Graduate Diplomas in Company Secretarial and Applied Finance and Investment.

  • Steffany Sinclair Head of People and Performance

    Steffany leads the human resources, business support and payroll functions and is responsible for developing and implementing the People Strategy for PBPL.  She partners with all levels of the business to build capability, drive employee engagement and enable leaders to achieve their strategic and operational targets.

    Steffany has over 10 year’s experience in human resources including in organisational design, organisational development, workforce planning, industrial relations and employee engagement initiatives which improve business performance and attract and retain key talent.

    Ms Sinclair is a business and human resources graduate of the Queensland University of Technology, holds a Masters in Human Resource Management in Employment Relations and is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (MAHRI).

  • Brendan Connell Head of Corporate Relations

    Brendan joined the Port of Brisbane in January 2017 and leads the Corporate Relations team in planning and implementing the Port’s external communications initiatives, its interaction with local and regional communities, as well as PBPL’s strategic interaction with customers and Government.

    Brendan has over 15 years’ experience across media, government and communications sectors, has previously served as a Senior Advisor to a Deputy Prime Minister, two Premiers, and a Deputy Premier, and holds a Bachelor of Journalism from QUT.

  • Teresa Murphy Head of Technology

    Teresa joined the Port of Brisbane in 2018.  As Head of Technology, she is responsible for ensuring technology related infrastructure and  systems, necessary to support secure operations and business objectives, are in place.   
    With over 25 years in Information technology related positions including GM and CIO roles across a range of industries, Teresa brings a passion for improving business performance via effective use of digital technology and data drive decision making.
    She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Post Graduate Certificate in Computing.
