On Tuesday 31 October, Port Drive southbound between Bulk Terminal Drive and Lucinda Drive Bridge will be temporarily closed for a concrete pour on the new Lucinda Drive Bridge, weather permitting. This closure will take place between 7.00pm and 5.00am. In the event of wet weather, this work will be carried on the next available night shift..

Mega container ship due to arrive in Brisbane

Main Roads Road Safety and Ports Minister, Mark Bailey said the arrival today of the 347metre Susan Maersk was clear demonstration of the port’s capabilities in handling an increasing number of large vessels operating in the region.

On Monday 16 October, between 8pm and 12am (midnight), Port Drive southbound between Bulk Terminal Drive and Lucinda Drive Bridge will be temporarily closed for a concrete pour on the new bridge, weather permitting. Depending on Monday’s weather forecast, the work may be undertaken on the next available night shift.

Operational notification #46: Port Drive Upgrade – Changes to traffic

Tuesday, 10 October 2017
On Thursday 12 October, between 8pm and 12am (midnight), Port Drive southbound between Bulk Terminal Drive and Lucinda Drive Bridge will be temporarily closed for a concrete pour on the new bridge.
All outbound / city-bound traffic will be diverted via Port Drive northbound, Bishop Drive and Lucinda Drive.
Lucinda Drive Bridge will remain open to traffic in both directions.

Operational notification #42: Port Drive Upgrade – Changed traffic conditions from 24 September 2017

Wednesday, 20 September 2017
The following traffic changes will be in place on port roads, weather and site conditions permitting:
From Sunday 24 September, all northbound / port-bound traffic on Port Drive will be switched onto the new permanent northbound lanes at the end of the Port of Brisbane Motorway.
