Tracking program assists local shorebird management

On 22 November, representatives from the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd’s (PBPL) Environment Team assisted Queensland Wader Study Group (QWSG) undertake their annual bird-tagging program at the Port of Brisbane, where approximately 104 migratory shorebirds were netted, measured, banded and released.

The Australian Customs and Border Protection Services (ACBPS) has ceased and the Australian Border Force now stood up as the operational and enforcement arm of the new Department.
