The Port of Brisbane is Australia’s third largest container port with international trade worth $19.4 billion each year.

Brisbane is geographically positioned closer to the Asia-Pacific rim than its southern neighbour ports, and serves Australia’s fastest growing region from South East Queensland to northern New South Wales. Trade through the port consists of a range of containerised, bulk and break-bulk cargoes. Brisbane is Australia’s leading beef and cotton port, handling approximately 50% of Australia’s total cotton and beef exports.
