The site includes the potential to build up to 150 fully serviced marina berths with associated landside infrastructure, including office, amenity and potentially commercial development.
The request for proposals opened on Friday 27 July and closed on Friday 5 October. Proposals are currently under evaluation, and a decision on the successful proponent is expected to be announced in December 2007.
The facilities will comprise:
- 2.5ha (approx) water development
- 1ha (approx) land development
- 24 year lease
The key selection criteria includes:
- Design efficiency
- Sustainable planning and design
