Planning

  • Include quality and continued improvement considerations in the Corporation’s decision making.
  • Provide adequate resources for people at all levels to fulfil their responsibilities as directed under this policy.
  • Implement quality standards, procedures and systems to enable all activities to be carried out in a sustainable manner.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the Corporation’s quality program and act on the results.
  • Continuously improve the quality performance of the Corporation.
  • Continuously improve the quality management systems of the Corporation.

Practices

  • Meet quality standards in the Corporation’s key activities.
  • Assess the quality impacts of the Corporation’s activities.
  • Plan, design, and complete all operations in a manner that reduces risks, hazards and to establish procedures to eliminate loss.
  • Abide by applicable legislation, regulations, policies and rules.

People

  • Appoint people on criteria which includes that they have the appropriate skills and experience to carry out work in a way that is compatible with quality work practices and compliance with this policy.
  • Provide training opportunities for our people so they have the appropriate skill and experience to ensure that every operation is completed with the utmost respect for quality.
  • Specify the need for contractors to carry out their work in accordance with this Policy and to supervise such compliance.
  • Communicate with individuals, community and Government groups about the Corporation’s activities as relevant.

This policy will be reviewed annually.
