Current Projects

Progressive development of the port over the past 30 years has focussed on the port at the river mouth. This is consistent with strategic planning aimed at relocating associated industry away from residential areas.

Current construction projects being undertaken, including the sand extraction project, and the future port expansion, are consistent with this ongoing strategic focus.
