Gerry Johnstone

Gerry Johnstone has been appointed General Manager Port Development for the Port of Brisbane Corporation, after acting in the position since July 2002.

Gerry is well known in the port industry through his previous role as the Corporation’s Senior Manager Business Development, which he held for five years. Prior to joining the Corporation, Gerry was Queensland Manager of the Association of Employers of Waterside Labour.

“Gerry has extensive experience in waterfront industrial relations and human resources, and is well qualified to take on this key role as the leader of our largest division. He will bring to the role a unique perspective on our customer’s strategic requirements for world-class infrastructure and facilities,” said the Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Coleman.
