Systems
The Corporation’s IMS is based on the DNV International Safety Rating System. While it is no longer accredited under this system, it has achieved certification with no non-conformances under:
- AS4801: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- IS09001:2000, the International Organisation for Standarisation’s Quality Management standard
- ISO4001, the International Organisation for Standardisation’s Environmental Management standard.
As part of the IMS, there are several mechanisms for identifying and controlling hazards including:
- Planned General Inspections – provides a system for the identification of all substandard work practices and conditions through inspections of all worksites
- Condition Reporting and Control – provides a method of effectively managing hazards
- Task Analysis – systematically identifies hazards associated with occupations within the Corporation
- Change Management – provides a method of systematic hazard identification and control for existing and proposed, designated areas of the Corporation.
- Materials and Services Procurement and Management – we have a system for the purchase of plant/equipment/materials, hazardous substances the management of contractor and consultants.
