Health and Safety

The Corporation’s goal is to provide a safe, healthy and environmentally sound workplace for all employees and contractors. We aim to achieve a zero harm workplace.

Our Safety and Risk Management section is responsible for managing risk management, quality, safety, precautions, health protection, injury prevention, damage control, emergency plans and environmental safeguards.

Staff responsibilities, application and compliance with our workplace health and safety and quality policies and regulations are documented in each position description. Staff involvement in the IMS also includes membership representation on the Health and Safety Committee, and participation in the IMS and Innovation Awards.
