Darryl Mutzelburg

General Manager Finance and Business Services

Darryl is responsible for the commercial activities of the port. This includes the development of new business opportunities and the management of relationships involving shipping lines, importers and exporters, and commercial property leases. He is also responsible for business develoment marketing activities.

Darryl is also responsible for financial operations, financial and management reporting (including operational Key Performance Indicators), and information technology.

Darryl has had more than ten years’ commercial experience in the transport and banking sectors. He holds a Master of Commerce, Bachelor of Business and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Mark Neander

Senior Manager Business Development

Mark is responsible for developing business development initiatives and strategies to increase trade growth, as well as optimising development of the Corporation's land holdings.

Manager Property Development

The Manager Property Development is responsible for delivering property management services to all tenants on strategic port land. He also works with industry to develop property and facilities that will accelerate trade growth through the Port of Brisbane and enhance growth in the port community.

Cyril Stringfellow

Manager Financial Operations

Cyril’s key duties as Manager Financial Operations include the Corporation’s treasury, financial accounting and budget, statutory financial reporting, and financial planning and systems. He is also responsible for the Trade Data, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll sections, and the Procurement function.

Having worked in a number of roles in the Corporation’s Finance section since 1985, Cyril has an extensive knowledge of the financial and operational aspects of the organisation. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

John Clifton

Manager Financial and Risk Management

John is responsible for corporate planning, risk management, and the effective use of the Corporation's assets. Other areas of responsibility include the production of Operational Key Performance Indicators, the Corporation’s Balanced Scorecard and investment analysis for infrastructure development.

John has a Bachelor of Economics, Master of Commerce, an MBA and is currently completing his CPA.

Tony Marles

Manager Information Technology

Tony is responsible for the effective design, implementation and operation of the information systems and applications within the Corporation and Brisbane Multimodal Terminal. He is also responsible for telecommunications and the provision of support and project management of IT services for the Corporation.

With over 20 years’ experience in information technology in the private sector, Tony has worked in management roles for the past ten years, most recently at Golden Circle. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing.

Noel Ryan

Manager Commercial Services

Noel is responsible for developing our pricing policies, managing information systems used for trade data reporting, and preparing business cases for trade-and property-related projects, working closely with both the Manager Property Development and the Manager Shipping and Trade Development. Noel is also responsible for preparing the Corporation's trade-and property-related revenue budgets, forecasts and trade analysis.

Noel has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, including three years with KPMG as an economic and regulatory consultant, over three years in senior policy roles at Northern Territory Treasury and the Office of Territory Development, and two years as a commercial analyst at Power and Water Corporation, with a focus on the pricing and investment appraisal of water and electricity generation assets.
