Port of Brisbane welcomes MV Tugela

The Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) welcomed the MV Tugela to Brisbane on 12 October during its maiden voyage to Australia.

The Large Car and Truck Carrier (LCTC) is designed for worldwide transportation of rolling cargoes, including cars, high and heavy rolling cargo, roll trailers, and breakbulk cargo.

The vessel is arranged with 13 decks for cargo and a 12-metre stern ramp, which has a 320 tonne capacity.

PBPL Trade Executive, Rowena Routh, visited the MV Tugela on its arrival, and presented the captain with a plaque to commemorate the visit.

Large cargo can easily exit the MV Tugela on its 12-metre stern ramp.
