To be Australia’s leading port: Here for the future

Queensland’s infrastructure projects will remain well connected to building and construction supplies, following today’s commissioning of the Port of Brisbane’s new $57 million General Purpose Facility by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Health, Paul Lucas.

The transPORT bus, which provides a shuttle service between the suburbs of Manly and Wynnum and the Port of Brisbane at Fisherman Islands will run its last service on Friday 26 February.

The port community has generously supported the Port of Brisbane Corporation (PBC) employee Movember team in their efforts to raise money for men’s health issues.

Sixteen students from Wynnum North State High School have been working one-day-a-week at seven businesses in and around the Port of Brisbane, as part of the Transport and Logistics Adopt a School Program.

PBC awarded an Excellence Award for Innovation for their work associated with ground improvement trials at the Future Port Expansion.
